Whatever you do don't cry..

I can feel the fear building... it began last night as just an uncomfortable feeling in the bottom of my tummy. But by the time I woke this morning it had increased to a feeling of nausea and nervous sweats..

What is causing this fear? In 30-minutes I will be in my Doctor's rooms to have a few moles removed... Not a very sexy topic I know, but truth nevertheless...

They have been bothering me for a few months... and Adam has been nagging like a mother for me to go and get them checked... but I am such a girl about these things that I stuck my head in the sand and pretended they did not exist...real brave right?

Anyway... they were finally painful enough that I went to get them checked. The result is that the Doctor does not think anything really sinister is going on, but based on the fact that they are growing and changing colour they have to come off. And so here I sit sweating.. with a dry mouth.. feeling sick to my stomach...

And on that note, it is time for me to leave.... arrrgghhh.. its not the needles that bother me its the knife... And as I typed the word knife my heart rate went through the roof....

Hi ho.. Hi ho... its off to the knife I go....

Hope everything went well. I took my daughter a few years ago for two moles on her back. A local anaesthetic ensured she didn't feel a thing and we both felt better when the negative results came back. Well done for getting it sorted out. Anticipation of something like this being done is usually worse than the actual procedure.
